My bio

Hi everyone,

I'm a native San Franciscan who grew up dancing, exploring the city, and playing in the dirt. I find myself on the Chinese medicine path as a natural progression of my curiosities and interests in eastern philosophy (taoism and buddhism), a curiosity of how life maintains itself,  a fascination with how certain activities (meditation, exercise, eating) and external manipulation (acupuncture, herbs) can influence our body's healing capacity, and a desire to heal those around me that are suffering. I have both a Western, "rational" side and an Eastern cyclical, wuji side to my philosophical perspective. I value my skepticism and my need to gather information from reputable sources. I also embrace the unknown and magic. I believe that there can be multiple truths. Sometimes I wonder if my perception of the world is just a result of the hormones bathing my brain and the particular body form I was given, yet we are greater than the sum of our parts. And of course, there's always room for contradiction.
